Sophia is an articled student with a developing practice in corporate and securities law, and cross-border transactions.
At the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, Sophia focused on business and international law, with a particular interest in Canadian monetary and fiscal policy. She served as president of the UVic Run Club and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and Senator Kim Pate on prisoner advocacy initiatives. Sophia also completed a summer co-op placement, assisting lawyers with cross-border tax planning, business succession, and other corporate matters for privately held companies.
Before entering law school, Sophia served on the board of directors of a not-for-profit organization and was represented by a creative licensing agency as a signed artist, developing her skills in strategic planning and contractual analysis.
Sophia is expected to be called to the British Columbia Bar in 2026.
