Jonathan is a senior lawyer and the founder of Lotz & Company, specializing in transactional law.
Prior to Lotz & Company, Jonathan worked as a partner at international law firm, Heenan Blaikie LLP, where he headed the firm’s Vancouver corporate securities and mining practices. He has represented public and private companies in all aspects of corporate and securities matters, and has acted for a variety of clients in the natural resources, energy, real estate and technology sectors in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
Jonathan is experienced in cross-border offerings and acquisitions, and transactions in the United States. He is a member of the Bars of British Columbia and New York and has provided advice to Canadian and American reporting issuers on various aspects of their corporate governance and special committees of boards on complex transactions.

Alexander has a general corporate and securities law practice and represents a range of public and non-public companies. He has experience in various aspects of corporate and securities matters, including public offerings, stock exchange listings, regulatory compliance, private placements and corporate governance.
Prior to his time at Lotz & Company, Alexander graduated from the University of British Columbia earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in history and a minor in economics. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University.

Ben advises private and public companies on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. He has experience in various aspects of corporate and securities law, including public offerings, private placements, regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure, corporate governance, and establishing capital pool companies. Prior to joining Lotz & Company, Ben practiced at a leading Vancouver civil litigation firm which focused on personal injury trials and class actions.
Ben graduated from Simon Fraser University, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English literature and an extended minor in humanities. He then received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sussex (UK), and a Master of Laws (Common Law) from the University of British Columbia.

Narges earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and a Juris Doctor (Magna cum laude) from the University of Detroit Mercy through the Dual JD Program. During this time, Narges acted as a student attorney for the environmental law clinic, completed an externship at the State of Michigan Attorney General’s office and was voted as president of Windsor Law’s Technology and Intellectual Property club. She was given several awards for academic achievement and was granted membership in the Frank Murphy Honor Society for graduating in the top 10% of her class. Prior to law school, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of British Columbia.
Sandra is the Office Manager at Lotz & Company. She brings over 10 years of hands on experience working in law firms of varying sizes and practices. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Lotz & Company, which includes management and oversight of corporate transactions and trust accounting matters. Prior to her time at Lotz & Company, Sandra graduated from BCIT with a degree in Accounting.
Candace is a paralegal at Lotz & Company. She is experienced in a wide range of corporate matters, including incorporations, extra-provincial regulations, naming of businesses and annual maintenance to more complex share transactions, dissolutions, amalgamations and restorations. Prior to beginning her corporate paralegal career at Lotz & Company, Candace earned her Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
